Melanie Williams, Human resources manager
Meet Melanie, our Human Resources Manager! Born and raised in Alabama, Melanie graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, a minor in Business, and distinction in Leadership Studies.
She began her professional career in tax accounting, but quickly changed directions. She worked as an accountant in the hospitality industry, then transitioned into Human Resources, where she worked for several years. She joined the High Spirits Hospitality team in 2023 as an HR Generalist, and in 2024 was promoted to management.
Outside the workplace, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, their kids, and their dog, Katie. You'll often find her shuttling her children to various activities, from soccer to band practice.
Melanie loves the beach, finding some quiet time to spend with a good book, or going out to dinner with her close-knit group of girlfriends! She lives off hot tea and Dr. Pepper, and her favorite spirit is blueberry moonshine.
